Meet Cooper. Yes, he has been with us for some time now. He was handed over to us from another rescue earlier this year. After evaluating and having him in 2 different foster homes, the decision was made to put him with a trainer. The awesome trainer was able to breakthrough to Cooper and understand his behavior. He is a large dog in a small dog’s body. He has to work, he has to have a job and he has to know that he is NOT the boss. He has outbursts which can seem like he is attacking but what is happening is he thinks he has to protect himself and his territory. He is very territorial.
His ideal home would consist of a strong disciplined person to be consistent and continue Cooper’s training. An active lifestyle that will include him in outdoor activities. A fenced yard is a necessity for him. No children. He is ok with other dogs but a no go with cats. He gets along with other dogs and that is a plus while trying to expend his energy. HE LOVES THE WATER! Did I mention he loves the water? If you feel like your home is a fit and that you can dedicate your time and energy to Cooper, we encourage you to apply. We will do an extensive veterinarian background check, reference check and home visit. We have worked hard to get Cooper where he is now and to understand him, so these qualifications will have to be met to even consider a home for him.

Handsome Tuxedo aka TUX is now ready for his forever family.
This fabulous dude is estimated to be 9, fully vetted, neutered, HW negative, house and crate trained and gets along well with others his size. He is fostering with 3 Bostons of mixed age, size and temperament and gets along very well with all.
Loves kids and people. He is very smart. Knows sit, down and shake. Walks well on leash and loves car rides.

ADOPTED! Dante – Boston Terrier
Remember Dante? He first came to us as skin and bones. Well, he’s had quite the transformation! Dante is living his best life with his new family which includes a fur brother to whom he’s bonded with. A rocky start for sure as both boys felt threatened by the other, but to see them now – just wow. They are inseparable 24/7! And might I add his mom and dad are awesome people too!
Bella – Boston Terrier – ADOPTED
Bella came to us from the Del Rio area and got a clean bill of health from our vet. She fostered in the San Antonio area until her perfect home was found among our pre-approved adopters. She is 4 years old and looks like a pirate – she lost one eye when she was a toddler! Her one eye didn’t slow her down or make her undesirable to her new family. We are so grateful she is happy and well adjusted in her new family.
Adopted! Jasper – Boston Terrier Puppy
PUPPY ALERT! PUPPY ALERT!!
Meet Jasper. He is just a big ole 8 month old puppy who is a sweet loving boy. He is up to date on vaccines and neutered. He is 100% puppy so be ready for that puppy energy. He sleeps in his crate with no fuss. He gets along with big and small dogs. He just wants to play so his ideal home would be one with energetic children, just not small children. He is working on his manners but his foster has already taught him to sit for a treat so he is a smart baby. He is now available for adoption. PETRA (aka Sweet Pea) is ready for her family!
Petra is 4, fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is house and crate trained and gets along well with other dogs.
Things she loves – car rides, walks, stuffed animals, eating, snacking, and most favorite thing is just laying next to you.
Things she’s not a fan of – loud noises, sudden movement, strangers wearing masks. Doesn’t like to be away from humans for too long.
From Foster Mom – Petra is still working on not pulling when being walked on the leash, but is improving. She’s great with my teenage son. Doesn’t seem to be bothered by other dogs – when we see them at the treat store. She’s still pretty skinny, but we’re working on that too! Enjoys organic bone broth with her meals.

Meet Romeo, a Boston wannabe! Cutest pug ever and is only 2.5 years old. Romeo is neutered, Heartworm negative and is current on all vaccines. We are evaluating and treating some skin and ear issues but hope to have him all fixed up real soon.
